Ocean View (OMI)

Ocean View is the southwest neighborhood to the east of Lakeshore, bounded by Ocean Avenue to the north, Juniper Serra Blvd. to the west, and I-280 to the east and south. In real estate terms, Ocean View also includes the MLS areas of Merced Heights and Ingleside. The neighborhood is nicknamed "OMI".

There is a noticeable lack of businesses and essential services in this area, although the construction of Ocean View Village holds promise for the locals. Ocean Avenue, along the northern border of the neighborhood is the main commercial corridor.

With San Francisco State University to the west and City College of San Francisco to the east, it is no wonder that homes in Ocean View are in high demand.
